Exhibitors at the Biennale of Crafts & Design 2025

In 2025, visitors will have a unique opportunity to experience an exceptional collection of new works by 27 exhibitors at the Biennale for Crafts & Design. The exhibition opens on October 9 at Glas – Museet for Glaskunst in Ebeltoft.

Danish crafts and design is internationally renowned for its outstanding quality, meticulous craftsmanship, sustainability, and distinctive products that counterbalance the excesses of overconsumption and mass production. In a time of material scarcity and environmental challenges, there is a pressing need for creators who produce objects of enduring beauty and precision. The Biennale celebrates the craftsmanship that yields elegant, durable designs.

The 2025 Biennale also marks its 30th anniversary, an ideal occasion to showcase works deeply rooted in materiality, design, and the concept of “superobjects”—creations that contribute to healing a fragmented world.

The Biennale connects with the public through a fresh curatorial vision from Ukurant, injecting new perspectives into this tradition-rich field. The exhibition spans a wide variety of craft and design disciplines, representing diverse age groups, experiences, and approaches.

After a rigorous and anonymous application process, the curatorial group has selected 27 outstanding exhibitors.
